How CGA manages club-services data

Central Gauteng Athletics (CGA) is committed to protecting personal information and handling it in accordance with applicable South African data-protection law, including POPIA.

Our relationship with iRunSA

CGA uses iRunSA as its secure technology and records-management partner for club services. CGA remains responsible for the athletics services offered through this website. iRunSA processes information on CGA's behalf to operate secure sign-in, club registration, approval and official club-record functions.

Information used for club services

When you sign in or register a club, CGA and iRunSA may process your name, contact details, account information, club details, supporting information and the history of registration or approval actions. We use this information to verify access, assess club applications, maintain official records, communicate about your request and meet governance obligations.

Security and access

Your password is submitted through CGA's secure sign-in page and verified by the secure account service. CGA does not retain your password. Access to club records is controlled by authorised roles, and activity connected with registrations and approvals may be retained for audit and governance purposes.

Sharing and retention

Information is shared only where necessary to provide CGA club services, comply with legal obligations, protect the integrity of athletics records or respond to authorised requests. Information is retained only for as long as necessary for those purposes and for applicable record-keeping requirements.
